Questions
What is the best music for anxiety?
Slow, steady music with no sudden changes and no lyrics to follow works best for most people. Around 60 beats a minute or slower, soft tones and a predictable shape give your attention somewhere calm to rest. That is how every session here is built.
Does music really help anxiety?
Calming music can help many people feel less anxious in the moment, especially paired with slower breathing. It is not a treatment for an anxiety disorder. Read the full guide.
What frequency is good for anxiety?
396 Hz is the frequency most often chosen for anxiety and fear. 432 Hz and 528 Hz are popular for general calm. There is little strong evidence that one frequency works better than another, so pick the one that feels most soothing to you.
Why breathe in for 4 and out for 6?
A breath out that is longer than the breath in is a common way to help the body settle. The light in the player grows as you breathe in and shrinks as you breathe out. The sleep session slows it to in for 4, out for 8.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every session and frequency plays free for 5 minutes at a time, as often as you like, with no account. A one-time $19 unlock adds sessions up to 90 minutes or nonstop, binaural versions and frequency stacks.
